It can be quite easy to access love and joy in our relationship with nature.
It is when we try to access love and joy with other people that things get challenging, messy, out of hand, and … confusing, to say the least.
That is due in part to how we relate to other people – which stems from how we learned, from childhood, to relate to wounded people, who themselves learned how to relate to wounded people, too.
Deep in our core, we don’t feel lovable.
That, in itself, makes it incredibly difficult to connect with other people in a clean, and energetically positive way that helps us access love from God, instead of looking for fulfillment from others (as the source), or materialistic items, social media .. status, relevancy.
We are guarded and defensive because of the pain we experienced in the past – as such, we are not open to connecting with others. So we stay in places that make us feel safe. Places that don’t help us grow, or expand.
If we haven’t done the grief work from the past, then we aren’t open to feeling our feelings in the present moment. As long as we are blocking the fear, anger, and confusion, core wounds from the past, then we run the risk of blocking true love, and true joy.
To stay suppressed is low vibration.
To remain in relationships that don’t expand, or grow is low vibration.
We continue to remain stuck. Fear, doubt, shame, hopelessness, defeat and guilt perpetuate this repetitive cycle.
The more we heal our emotional wounds, our core wounds deep within, and change our intellectual programming – the more we introspect (and we do this through inner work, with the help of solitude). More introspection raises our vibration – our thinking changes. We shed the old programming that once ruled our lives and things begin to shift.
People that once resonated with us fall to the wayside.
Things we once found solace in now seem irrelevant to us.
The more we shift, the more our vibration shifts upward, the more capacity we have to be in the present moment and tap into real, authentic, true love.
And we may love that! We may crave that, and desperately want that! But if we haven’t done enough core inner work, eventually our fears kick back in and our vibe falls – and we find ourselves returning back to our old selves.
Instead… we stay where things are safe. Situations that aren’t in our best interest. Relationships that are toxic, destructive, that don’t help us grow. When our inner channels are blocked and cluttered with confusion, repressed emotional energy and dysfunctional attitudes, the farther away we get from aligning with our true selves down to our core. Self love is the first step in shifting your energy – without that, we stay stuck in the low vibration spaces in our lives.
We can’t grow, and we fail to expand. We remain stuck in our old patterns.
Where your focus goes, your energy flows. In other words, your life is largely affected by how you think and act.
The thoughts and beliefs you carry, produce energy and direct your life.
